The Center works across disciplines and campus offices to provide leadership, civic engagement, and policy-related programs, courses, and special events. We are home to the forthcoming leadership studies program, the University's national membership in Project Pericles, and the programmatic elements of the pre-law program. The Center also coordinates student participation in Washington DC-based programs, such as PLEN, and acts as the campus resource for students, faculty and staff interested in women’s public participation and civic engagement. Additionally, the Center regularly hosts speakers, workshops, and special topics courses. We are also developing graduate program modules to promote advocacy training and public policy analysis in the physician assistant and physical therapy masters degree programs at Chatham.
