Noreen Khan with Center staff

Kicked off in 2005, this new program brings young professionals and/or young scholars to campus for short residencies. While on campus, fellows author papers on current topics of interest for the Center’s working paper series, speak to classes, and lead programs for students.

Our first fellow, Naureen Khan, came from the London School of Economics. During her stay she spoke in multiple classes, gave presentation on women’s representation in the media, and spoke to students about selecting and obtaining internships such as the one she had at the UN. Khan also researched women’s representation in local media outlets during the 2004 presidential campaign and her paper will be soon be available as part of the Center’s working paper series.
