The Center hosts a variety of formal and informal public educational lectures for students and the broader community. For students, these have often been part of our "Conversations with Women in Public Policy" series. During the 2004 presidential election season, we offered both a weekly luncheon series – “Elections 2004: the Keystone State as a Battleground State" – which focused on the issues and processes of campaigns and the bipartisan Hillman Distinguished Lecture Series, featuring four national female political figures who shared stories and lessons from their political and professional lives as well as discussed the importance of women's political involvement in all its forms.

The Center also offers an annual Periclean Series of events to promote student civic engagement, which has featured: Devra Davis, environmental oncologist; Dan Frankel, State Representative; and Heather Arnet, executive director of Women and Girls Foundation.
