 The Center is pleased to help sponsor the social sciences honorary Pi Gamma Mu and its annual initiation lunch ceremony. Students with majors in the social sciences are eligible for membership in their junior or senior years. Pi Gamma Mu sponsors an annual prize for the best tutorial in the social sciences, awarded in 2005 to Katie Freeman and in 2006 to Kate Emory.
The Center has also sponsored the initiation ceremony for Phi Beta Kappa members and regularly collaborates with student groups, including the Chatham Republicans and the Chatham Progressives.
